Monthly Support Meetings

York hosts four separate monthly support meetings, September through May. All are FREE. No membership or registration required.

Autism Support Meetings, held the 3rd Monday of each month, offer various topics of interest to families dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Visit the Autism York calendar to see all of the subjects being covered this year! Anyone interested in learning more about ASD is welcome to attend.

Autism York South Monthly Meetings, new for 2012, was designed to accommodate our many families located in the Southern portion of York County. AYS will alternate between informal, chat type meetings and speaker format meetings. Anyone is welcome to attend!

Asperger Chat Nights welcome the families and friends of individuals with Asperger’s Syndrome, High-Functioning Autism or PDD-NOS. This informal group explores numerous topics and allows interested parties to share with and learn from each other. They are held the 1st Thursday of each month.

Adult ASD Group meets the 4th Monday of each month. This group provides an opportunity for older teens and adults (around age 18 and up) with an Autism Spectrum Disorder to meet for support, self-advocacy, networking, conversation, and fun. Each month we meet somewhere for dinner or for another fun social activity, such as mini golfing, bowling, or snow tubing. Please see the Autism York calendar for details regarding the theme, time, and location for our next Adult ASD Group meeting.

FAMILY SOCIAL EVENTS

Autism York hosts a multitude of Autism friendly, family social events. Family movie events, swim events, mini-golf outings, and much more are offered FREE to individuals and families in our community who are affected by Autism with the hope that they may enjoy a stress free time together. Any individual or family that is affected by ASD is welcome to attend our events. There is no membership or registration required. Just come out and enjoy. We are proud to be able to give back to the community in this way!
